AMIkids and Lowry Park Zoo Web Sites Recognized for Creative Excellence
TAMPA, FL – February 22, 2016: Roger West, a Tampa-based digital marketing agency, is pleased to announce that they have received two awards for their work on two non-profit web sites. AMIkids (www.amikids.org) received a Gold ADDY Award, and Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo (www.lowryparkzoo.org) won a Silver ADDY Award. Both responsive web sites were built using Sitefinity CMS, an enterprise-level content management system.
The AMIkids web site inspires visitors with hope and offers them ways to get involved in the lives of troubled youth. The site consolidates over 40 program microsites into one cohesive web presence, which unifies the organization’s brand message while making it easy for teams across the U.S. to manage content and solicit support. The new site has increased online donations by 500%. Learn more.
Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo web site positions this beacon of conservation as a destination hot spot with exciting things to do and learn. The site features an extensive database for multiple content types (animals, activities, events, etc.), which are strategically placed to drive traffic, engage visitors and increase conversions for ticket sales, memberships, special events and fundraising goals. About the ADDYs
The American Advertising Awards (known as the ADDY Awards) is the advertising industry's largest and most representative competition, attracting over 40,000 entries every year in local AAF Club competitions. The mission of the American Advertising Awards competition is to recognize and reward the creative spirit of excellence in the art of advertising.
Conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation (AAF), the local phase is the first of a three-tier, national competition. Selection of the most creative entry in each category is affected by a scoring process in which a panel of judges evaluates all creative dimensions of every entry. A GOLD ADDY is recognition of the highest level of creative excellence and is judged to be superior to all other entries in the category. Entries that are also considered outstanding and worthy of recognition receive a SILVER ADDY.
